Have you ever dreamed of becoming the mythical phoenix, rising from the ashes? Have you ever imagined soaring above the rain forest as the mighty eagle? For decades, people have pensively watched birds take wing and felt a bit jealous. But what about those birds that don’t fly? You’d think they would hold a rancor against their freewheeling brothers and sisters, but these guys are just marvelously incredible in their own right.  I would like to introduce to you now…FIVE BIRDS THAT CAN NOT FLY! These birds are just amazingly cute and awesome to serve its purpose in our endangered planet. No list of flightless birds would be complete without the penguin. “Word of the Lord” In The Old Testament

The meaning of the phrase “Word of the Lord” is illustrated for us in Genesis 15:1-4. In this passage God is speaking to Abram.

After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying,
“Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you;
Your reward shall be very great.”
Abram said, “O Lord GOD, what will You give me, since I am childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” And Abram said, “Since You have given no offspring to me, one born in my house is my heir.” Then behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir.” Genesis 15:1-4.
